So in my series of concerts the next was Kihncert 2010 put on by the local classic rock station KFOX with one of their Djs and musician Greg Kihn as the front man.
It was down at shoreline a huge amphitheatre near mountain view. My seat was pretty good a little close to the stage for comfort due to the sound pressure level but not actually painful.

So I went to see ZZTop last night at another vineyard, this one was a fair way out off towards Livermore.

Just went to see Scott Pilgrim Vs the World and it is fucking awesome. Really funny with wonderful comic book come to life visuals set against the backdrop of Toronto. It’s geeky and cool at the same time and it’s definitely a must see. You can see Edgar Wright’s hand in this the slick pace and geek culture references the comedy of the script it’s all good.

Current Wireless Modem/Router is on the fritz, so currently looking for a new one. Does anyone have any recommendations, looking for reliability and signal strength as main areas.

So I tried this thing called Meetup on saturday. It’s a site for organizing get togethers for people on the interweb.

Still having issues with the makerbot after dismantling and reassembling the extruder I did get some decent results out of it but after I left it and came back the thing jammed up again. I suspect the hot end is to blame perhaps the ptfe thermal barrier has a gap or maybe has swelled while heated and the melted plastic is jamming once it all cools down.

On a whim I've decided to enter Spiky Clubs yearly Blood Bowl tournament...6 games over 2 days.

The D Total is a single dice than can represent 11 possible dice. It's quite amazing. Based on a d24, the markings give you the ability to roll all sorts of combinations. Amazing!

Pete mentioned that dice with rounded edges (Chessex) don't roll correctly and aren't precise enough. There's even some research. I'm sort of interested in this, I must admit. Pete noted wanted to get sharp edges because they roll more fairly.
