Some beautiful pictures. HDRI tends to bring out the detail in a scene and the roman architecture looks simply superb with all the detail highlighted. Smashing stuff.

Apparently there's a constant flow heart under development - interesting stuff. Should put less of a load on the circulatory system given the lack of pressure pulses, although as pointed out in the article having it respond to the body's demands could be challenging

If you've not seen tilt shift before, its a cool technique where you set the focus to make pictures (and video here) look like it's a model railway and such. This one is a delightful example of tilt shift.
