So they have released a Blood Bowl game for just about every platform that's around these days... It looks sumptuous. Speaking as a full on BB nerd I can say that this is probably the most important game release for me since Civ4. :) Anyhoo, currently the game is only available to d/load from the publisher for £40. There will be a disk/steam release in September so I am wondering to purchase now or to wait?
Online multiplayer will be far, far easier with Steam although by all accounts I tend to not play much against randoms online. Cos they're cunts. This coupled with the OU kicking off again in October means I am seriously tempted to just buy it now... I know Pete would be tempted to join me, anyone else be interested in a LO BB league?

It will not be compatable with the Steam version is my understanding, which is in itself a powerful argument for the waiting game. I believe Herr Stickland would be up for joining us in a steam based league, which when the fat man is included brings us up to 4.

That sounds like a 2-month wait then. On the plus side hopefully by then most glitches will have been sorted out, and the extra races will be added. I had a read through the forum last night, and lots of people are having trouble downloading/installing the version off the site.
Anyone standing next to the sidelines deserves that treatment, especially cocky fuckers with Dodge "ooh, you push me back instead of knocking me down...oh fuck, I'm dead!"
