Just as an early warning, I will confirm this later on in the week. We are currently forecast more heavy snow this Sunday, and continued freezing weather well into next week, which may leave Burghfield Common as a pedestrianised zone...

make a call on Wednesday...my main concern would be that it's far harder to get into Burghfield than to leave, and if the weather is going to get worse there is a good chance of getting stranded away from the house...

As I said, best to make a call on Wednesday, and see what the weather has done. No snow today (or very little), so it might not be as bad as expected.

I _think_ it's probably best
I _think_ it's probably best to can this one...even if the weather/conditions are OK (and it's still questionable at the moment, some forecasts are predicting more snow/freeze on Friday night), it's going to be a struggle getting everything sorted. We've had a plumbing failure in the bathroom, parking will be a bit of a challenge, and in all honesty I think we need the weekend to sort stuff out after being effectively under seige for the last month.
Bloody poor show by the weather all in all.
I shall look at trying to re-arrange this for the future, as it is something I'd like to happen, as they are always a chuckle.
