Can anyone recommend me a headset?

Morning all,

Considerably less complex than Pete's query. Was just wondering if anyone can recommend me a good headphones/mic combo for £50 or less? I've managed to purchase total shite everytime I've got one, as anyone that's played L4D online with me will confirm.

I use a Steelsound headset

I use a Steelsound headset (the 5v) although they come in lots of models. The sound quality is superb and it's the most comfortable headset I've ever had.

@Rob - Ta, certainly around the right price point. I have been shown the beauty of the PC 350s from Senn... Expensive but tempting.

I use a fairly generic

I use a fairly generic back-of-the-neck headset...cost about £15 (I think it's Logitech, but not sure).
