Fishcon 30 July - 2 Aug - Food

Rather than just assuming Pete is ok with cooking for the millionth time, I thought it better - almost polite - to ask nicely.

Pete, would you be a star and do some cooking. On behalf the lads, we'll be your kitchen bitches.

If not, let's divvy up the evenings. :-) Bagsy Thursday!

Are there any dietary requirements this time?
Bigger Rob, being larger than the average human (no, he really is), requires a more generous portion. Apart from that, he assures me that he has no dietary requirements.

Anyone know about Jon.

Food - what are the

Food - what are the arrangements? I've not heard anything. Do I have to get some nosh or some shit?

Aggro and I will prolly eat en route Thu night.

When I sorted out the

When I sorted out the delivery time I wasn't aware most people were arriving Thursday. I'm not, so YOU CAN ALL FUCKING STARVE ON THURSDAY!!! BASTARDS!!!!...

...ahem.

There is a food delivery scheduled for Friday evening. I'll be putting in food for Friday night (probably pizza, as this worked well last time, and buying too much is not a disaster, as it tends to get eaten anyway).

I'll probably do Pollo alla Cacciatora and rice one night (posh chicken in a tomato and wine sauce). It's quick to do and filling.

How do people feel about bangers and mash for Sunday night? I'm sure the logistics of grilling 40-odd sausages will be a simple process :-)

Other than that I'll be getting normal basic supplies (bread, cheese, ham, spreads, tea, sugar, milk, squash etc etc) for lunch/snacks etc. If anyone wants something specific you probably want to tell me before the end of tomorrow. I won't be getting large supplies of fizzy drinks/sweets/crisps etc unless they are requested (as in previous years we've had a surplus of them, as people arrived with their own supply as well).

Oh yeah...can someone take a can opener? I seem to remember that the Mill doesn't have one...

Superb. So I just need some

Superb. So I just need some brekkie stuff and stuff for Thursday as some evil twat didn't order the food early enough. Marv. I'll warn the Big Rob.

There are several resturants close to the Mill apperently the Tai is very good but last weekend when we tired to eat there they didn't like the look of Tim and turned us away, so we had a curry instead.
