Cutting a long rant short a mate of mine is self-employed and is looking to get qualified in BSL (British Sign Language). Our fine government have a scheme that means they'll pay for it but only if the accounts have been checked over by an accountant/IFA, presumably to prove that she is indeed not sleeping in a bed stuffed with £20s...
