EMW - SET YOUR ALARM!!

I should be OK to provide food this time...we are doing the BBQ shop just beforehand, so getting an extra chicken should not be an issue.

If we do get a late arrival (as a completely random example, if Matt forgets to set his alarm) I've picked up a copy of Race For The Galaxy (RftG), which was developed after San Juan and Puerto Rico. It follows some similar mechanisms to those games, but with some key changes.

1) You pick your "role" from your own pool, rather than a central one.
2) "Buildings" (planets) and Improvements are bought froma hand of cards you have, rather than a central pool
3) Trade increases either hand size or victory points

I've played it with Gill, and she picked it up OK (as with many of these games, it's easier to play and learn rather than have the rules explained), however it would be good to give it a spin with some more experienced gamers...

It's 4 players only, otherwise I would crack it out at the end...
