Are Limp Bizkit back?

I wrote Limp Bizkit off around the time of Chocolate Starfish. It was all too obvious. I love Three Dollar Bill. Stuck and Counterfeit were masterpieces - riffs and energy much like early Korn. Durst voice does put some people's teeth on edge but I liked it. Signifcant other was brilliant. I bought it on Fish and I's America trip and I'm surprised he didn't want to burn the damn thing due to me playing it back to back all the time. It had some good ballady things on there and some oddness, which I have always appreciated.

When Wes Borland left, they went a bit flat. They did behind blue eyes, which was nice but not what I'd expect. Durst's ego detonated and he kept making a tit of himself. I can't imagine what it's like to be a big star but it clearly took its toll. Wes was important to LB because he brought that slightly off kilter feel to the band. It couldn't take itself too seriously with a man bouncing about dressed as a skeleton. He left because of all the bickering and being nasty to Trent Reznor, who Borland reportedly likes a lot. I can imagine it's a pain being part of something that receives loads of flak.

I was listening to last.fm to hear some new stuff and an LB track came on that I didn't recognise. It caught my attention. I assumed it was from the post-Borland album I had not bothered to even listen to (Results May Vary) but no, LB released an EP in 2005 with Borland back in the band. Who knew? Not me, that's for sure. It's called The Unquestionable Truth Part 1 and if you're the sort of person who reads a lot of music blogging, you may have noticed that Durst didn't publicise it all.

I've been along to iTunes and had a listen to the snippets and it sounds bloody good. Back to the old energetic grind with quality guitar riffs. It's what Korn should do now. I'm going to see if it's cheap in HMV/Zavvi at lunch today and pick it up.

Reviews on amazon are quite

Reviews on amazon are quite favourable too, which is odd because it's normally you get a load of people shouting blue murder on there. If you like 3$ Bill, you'll probably like this, is the general tone.

I've got it now and it's

I've got it now and it's good. Very good. I can well recommend the return of Limp Bizkit. They're going on about 'the truth' more than before but at least FD hasn't written any songs solely aobut his favourite curse. The riffs are supreme.
