Occulus Rift coming Q1 2016
YES!
I badly want a play; especially in Elite: Dangerous, which is SCREAMING OUT for a VR headset.

Written in javascript and SVG, it really shows off a bunch of different algorithms. Beautiful, simple and hypnotic.
WANT!
also this is thematically appropriate
It's a multi-player Rogue-like dungeon-crawler
It's been very well received.
Until 20th April it's less than £5. It's also on free weekend trial right now.
Might be worth a shout for a bit of Sunday gaming?

This is kinda crazy it's currently in a really early state no where near as finished as say elite which is a close equivalent but somehow they've gotten/swindled 77 million dollars out of people for this thing. Thats triple A game production money.
I remember seeing Chris Roberts at last pax prime bigging up intel processors saying they made it possible to do incredible things which sounds like it was a lie
I guess they can keep selling their virtual^2 goods to make more and more money without ever having to produce things
Looks a little complex but you can't argue with the results and all that red and green is ascetically pleasing
I was looking for something to give me a better way of tracking things in a dog fight in Elite Dangerous while I wait for the Rift to finally launch and came across this.
It isn't a commercial product, just a community driven device which seems to be getting better over time (although a bit more expensive than the original versions). I have placed an order, the lead time is quite long since they are built to order by essentially a guy i a shed, but they don't even charge you until your is ready ... which I thought was cool.
I love a good city builder. I've been enjoying a lot of Tropico 4 for the joy of stuffing buildings down and then keeping people happy/unhappy. I've been voted out and even had riots. All good fun. I like to tinker.
I found the latest SimCity thrilling to watch up to release but since have been disappointed by all the videos I've watched. I'm not bothered about always online but I don't like being forced to have my city integrated into some sort of network to do well. They're also not that big. I also don't like giving money to companies who treat their users like slaves.
