Don't play Minecraft!

On Saturday morning I bought and installed Minecraft, mainly to see what all the fuss was about.

During the entire month of November, I'm going to have this lunacy sprouting out of my face:
At the start of August, I was taken by ambulance to Norwich and Norfolk Accident and Emergency (A&E) where I was mis-diagnosed with a gastric blockage. I was advised to see my GP and get an ultrasound. When I explained the symptoms to my GP, Dr Tulley, she said "Sounds more like gallstones, you're a bit young to have them but we must get that ultrasound done".
Happy Birthday Matey.
Its never too soon to start building an instinctive terror of giant singing pink cakes...
I spent this weekend playing two games and fiddling with my makerbot trying to get reliable prints out of it.
An update on various things that have been going on.
Holiday in Tahoe and SF:
I spent far too long this weekend not really understanding Civ 5. While it downloaded I attempted to read the manual (all 230+ pages of it), and got a basic idea of combat, play mechanics etc etc. Did the basic tutorial, and won it in about 10 minutes.
I've been living in this city for a fair while now, so it's high time I blogged about it. Also if I don't do something other than Civ for a bit, I'm going to end up trying to settle the field out the back of the flat...
Things I like:
It's been a long, long race season for me this year. Certainly a tough one, and one that finished on a great high with Reading Triathlon, which pretty much goes thrgouh my village.
