I've just posted up a timelapse video of teh car jouney back from the Gower peninsula to Reading, and I'd thought I should back it up with a few notes on the steps I had to go through in order to make it...

On the weekend I spent some time with an old friend. You know how it is when you meet up with people you've not seen for years and the passage of time is very apparent, well that'a the way this was. They'd made some changes to their appearance added some new twists to their look, but their sound samples still suffered from low bit rate compression artefacts.

Well, Apple have come out with a new set of their (in)famous Mac/PC adverts. Surprisingly, this time round I find that I’m not paralysed with rage — just mildly disgusted and disappointed — and can write about them. Obviously, I should make it absolutely clear that, as adverts, I hate them.

GamePolitics is reporting that Jack Thompson is back in the legal firing line, this time for spamming one of his supporters — the President of the Utah State Senate, Michael Waddoups — with “offensive” images from GTA4.

Kate's paternal Grandma passed away yesterday around lunchtime. A formidable lady, even after 90 years. She died peacefully in her sleep at a nursing home she loved to hate. Everyone's holding up well. Inlaws are on their way back.

The Reading Half is finally out of the way. By my standards it didn't go too well, with a finishing time of 1 hour and 33 minutes...my goal was always to get round without an injury however, and that was aciheved, so we'll call it a draw and move on.
